Hollywood Cemetery GUN CLUB ROAD AREA: Sections 4 & 5

Sections 4 and 5 (See map below) are entered directly across Gun Club Road from the dirt road east of the main hill. Enter by climbing a rough roadway. Sections 4 and 5 will be on your right. About two-thirds of the way to the crest, you'll see the main east-west access road entering from the left and ending at the road you are on. Section 5 is to the right, and extends north and south. The south division is arbitrary, about 50 feet south of this location. Sections 4 and 5 include a relatively small wooded portion to the right (east) of the main sections. A rough road (or trail) separates them.

Be careful. The terrain is treacherous with a thriving crop of briars.

Warning: Most sections of Hollywood Cemetery are hazardous. Enter at your own risk.

These two pictures illustrate what happens after decades of neglect. On the left, a tree has grown through the steps to a family plot. On the right, two gravestones are completely hidden by ivy.
